In my last blog, I said I'd go over cutting your hair at home while in quarantine. I had the best of intentions, but I'm still getting things together to film a video for you, so stay tuned. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this repost of one of my favorite beauty hacks!
You know me, I'm all about time saving hair and beauty tips. Check out this 56 second video ( link at the end of this blog),
where I tell you how to do a 'partial wash' of your part line and temples so that your hair can look freshly washed in minutes!
Steps for a partial wash of your part line:
1/ Use a rat tail comb, section out your part line and side temples
2/ Ponytail the back of your hair - everything that won't be getting washed
3/ Hop in the shower and shampoo only the part line and temples. I find that leaning forward as I shampoo keeps the rest of the hair in the back from getting wet.
4/ Repeat with the conditioner then rinse
5/ Out of the shower - apply your blow dry product
6/ Now you only need to blow dry the small sections that were just washed: part line and side temples
7/ Once those sections are dry, let your ponytail go, then brush to blend in the clean hair with the no-so-clean hair underneath
8/ Hahah! No one knows the hair underneath is dirty
9/ Hope you use this time saving shampoo hack as much as I do!
